High Times Comedy Night
The last Thursday of every month in Los Angeles is when High Times Comedy Night at the Improv takes place. The series began in October and has since featured the comic talents of Sarah Silverman, Drew Carey, Jeff Ross, Doug Benson, Matt Besser, the Greg Wilson, Gary Gulman, Ungaio Belum and many more. Last week the HT Comedy Night debuted at the Irvine Improv on Wednesday and returned to the Hollywood Improv on Thursday.
Here's a report from HT Comedy Night co-producer Ford "The Man" Oelman:
Irvine show (featuring Benson and Wilson): "The show was great and seemed to be a big hit down there."
Hollywood show (featuring Al Madrigal and Laura Swisher): "The show went well. Madrigal tore the roof off - he really is amazing. Nick Thune was also good. We got a couple of reactions that said this was the best lineup yet."
The next HT Comedy Night show at the Hollwood Improv is on April 27. The tentative lineup includes Steve Hofstetter, Bert Kreischer, Randy Kagana and Jeff Petersen (Sarah Silverman may be added).

Lastly, High Times Comedy Night will be heading to San Francisco for 3 nights this month to coincide with the NORML Conference from April 20-22.
